The people have spoken. President Obama has won a chance to move beyond the stunted progress of his first term and, perhaps, become a historic president.

On the losing side, the Republican Party remains shut out of the White House and has blown a chance to take over the U.S. Senate, largely because it catered to the narrow concerns of tea party zealots and social conservatives who imagined themselves as the only authentic Americans but who are, in fact, way out of step with most of the people in this country.

They're going to have to change their platform. I mean, what choice do they have, what with the nation going more and more secular, with the entire media conglomerate going more and more liberal and secular... more than secular... to the far left... Democratic platform saying it's okay for abortion to the 9 month, booing the vote to put mention of G*d into the party platform... and no matter if you believe in G*d or not... booing? This means those who booed are loud and raucous and unwilling to accept or hear of any other viewpoint, but willingly applaud those who do the same.

The deliberately deceptive argument about marriage rights for homosexuals is a case in point. This is NOT about the right to marry... marriage is in a shambles now and divorce trumps marriage, and up to 60% of young couples are living together, not marrying... so the deliberately decep0tive argument about homosexual-marriage rights is a case in point. This is about attacking Judeo-Xtn morality, not about getting married. And this has become the status quo, accepted norm and those ReDumblicans who want to stay in the past, without really believing in the moral G*d who they pretend to worship, will change their platform... and so the slide continues.

President Obama sounds assertive after this election and he is signaling that he is
unwilling to play any more games nor waste any more time. I believe we are going to make some real progress this time under his strong leadership. He'll prove to the American people that they made the right decision to re-elect him.

Every time a presidential candidate gets nominated from the extreme end of the political spectrum, they lose. Goldwater in 64, McGovern in 72 and now Romney. Doesn't that tell you something about where the electorate is? Americans are mostly centrist, they don't mind some socialism or some laizze faire capitalism because they believe that each philosophy has both good and evil sides and can ameliorate the worst excesses of the other. I believe Romney is a technocrat, more interested in what works than ideology but he also realized he had to keep the extremists running the party happy in order to have a chance to run at all. Right now, I don't see the extremists getting their pink slips, in fact they have already started running the next conspiracy delusion on FOX about Petreus and Benghazi. They don't get it. Extremists never get it. Good moderate right of center Republicans have to regain control of the process in their party. As Rachel Maddow puts it, America works best when both party's propose solutions and compete to enact them with bipartisanship. Come guys, we need you. Clean house, dump the loonies and the senile old retirees running your ship and get with the program. We need your creativity and new ideas, not just a return to the 1950's.

It's obvious. It's conservative! No, we will not change. We hate blacks( unless we're gambling in the casinos on sportstrack....mandingo syle...ya'll know what I'm talkin' about). We don't like Mexicans(unless they're picking our crops for $2.00 an hour) women are no damn good (although men are worse) and the Asians are so damn smart we'll sound like rednecks just to prove our point.
Can't you see? Can't you see? Who we really are? My God, we'd kill Jesus if He argued with our conservative way. We've lost every election that we haven't cheated. We've lost every poll unless we make-it-up ourselves. I've been arguing how much A.D.D. we have but all my friends are bi-polar and argue with me. WTF is going on in my party? If this election proves anything is that white liberals can't elect their own people anymore. That's what you get when you have a party that caters to homosexuals, militant feminists, abortionists and Earth worshipers who think you'll destroy the planet if you have children. You can hold hands and regurgitate your diversity slogans all you want because they are in the early stages of taking over the Democrat Party and they'll decide which resources get apportioned out and to whom. They'll also set the agenda and frankly I don't believe those masochistic Latinos or blacks care about militant feminism, unnatural lifestyles or riding around in a green friendly car that looks like it was designed by Ringling Brothers. Our agenda tries to emit 47% of our own people ie:veterans, pensioners, social security recepients ( who paid into the insurance program)firemen, police officers and more and we think the others are liberating homosexuals, when, in fact, our party is loaded with homosexuals. No, what this election proves is our party is being overrun by outside, foreign interest and our greed has propelled them. Hell, we're so off the mark if Jesus were to become a repulican we'd be the first to crucify Him. We are a mess Robert. Face it. We're losers.
We tried to even rig the elections and lost. Why? I'll tell you why, because we're trying to blame others for who we are. And you're part of it.

Liberals think the election was a mandate to shut down Conservatism
They used every tactic possible - often illegal and crude. They are out in force today hoping to keep the charade up. There are many paid political posters on Yahoo - MSN shut down comments after the election because some of the posters were being exposed as not just everyday citizens posting in favor of Obama but people who were actually part of Obama's staff - one poster called herself "Feisty Redhead" and she was actually his campaign secretary - so Obama used every trick he could - from cheating to having a web site where people reported posters who didn't like him. This "win" takes on a new heights of desperation from Obama. The news today is revealing the cover-ups. More exposure to come.

I don't think the Republican party can recalibrate. I think they've doomed themselves by letting extremist lunatics get control of the party with all their bizarre demands to increase the size of government in order to play "big brother" over our personal lives. They handed power to religious extremists who want to force their religion on those of us who don't belong to theirs. Lastly they lashed themselves to a sinking ship of flawed and failed financial ideas instead of scrapping what was a total waste and presenting something new that will actually benefit the country as a whole. Instead of the Louis the 14ths of the modern world. We need a 2nd party we can respect - that respects us. Any ideas?

I guess the best those "religious extremists" could do with this power was nominate a Massachusetts Mormon who by some stretch could be considered a centrist at best and a liberal at worst? Someone who had homosexual activists working within his campaign,flip flopped on the issues and outright lied about his support of liberal causes while governor of Massachusetts? The truth is the establishment GOP is no different than the elites who run the Democrat Party. US "extremists" as you call them make up the majority of their voters yet we are locked out of power by the Northeastern liberal Republicans who run the show. That's all about to change. We've been chipping away at their power base for years and the formation of the Tea Party sent shivers down their spines. The lack of support for Romney in the election is likely to bring some changes favorable to the right wing.
