oops, I meant to click "no." I would have chosen "maybe" if given the chance. I know that Jeb isn't governor anymore, but I think that Florida is a Republican state. Then again, it really has swung from one allegiance to another in recent years. Arghhh. The ads have turned my head to mush!

Yep and I was part of the 40% in my state that voted for Romney...the northern part of our state...Santa Fe and surrounding cities totally democratic. We do have a Republican Governor, and we did replace a 34 year senate democrat.

For Ca. Governor 2 years ago I voted for Brown over Meg Whitman.
Brown is the one who led California into this fiscal mess, he swore he had changed and could lead us back out, so I gave him a chance. The Republicans seemed incapable of doing anything except block revenues.

I recall he raised welfare to 50% above New York, and we ended up with mass migration from New Jersey and NYC coming to California to collect welfare.
Welfare was only for residents here over 6 months, but the State of California was sued and it went to Supreme Courts right away, and California was forced to give these new come parasites from NYC & NJ immediate welfare from the moment the bus crossed our state line.

Unfortunately there are crooks in both parties...that is why there should be term limits. Our previous governor (Bill Richardson) was a crook and a half.

Starting Jan. 15th in order for me to be able to fly out of this state, I need a passport. Our democratic controlled roundhouse here in New Mexico, desire that illegals be given a New Mexico Drivers License. So that bus that made it to your state probably makes two trips a day to mine!

eeeek!THAT is scary. Here's some irony; Romney's middle is Mitt; his first name is Willard. Willard was the name of a rat in a movie of the same name. it's an old movie, but it was on TV last night. I think someone else, i.e., a TV program scheduler, tripped over the name and similar behavior and scheduled Willard for just before the election. it was on last nigh, I think. I wonder if rats watch each others' movies. {g}

If they can keep the crooks from voting more than once. There is a report here in NC that van loads of people from VA coming into NC and showing phone bills or power bills as proof of residency and voting then moving on to the next county and voting again. I wonder just how much of this crap is going on all over the country? We have got to do something about voter ID and proof of citizenship..

Romney's family sold (at a cheap rate) a lot of voting machines to North Carolina & Flaorida. That has made me and a lot of my friends believe that it doesn't pass the fish smell test.

With all due respect, I believe it is George W's economy mess. I knew from the get go that it would take whomever was elected two terms to put a dent in the economic woes. Romney is still talking about the "trickle down" economics (in cloaked terms). It was first articulated by Regan and embraced by W. It has never worked and it's very difficult to straighten out.
