Will Lindsay Lohan See Jail Time?

Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan has had her fair share of run-ins with the law but has always managed to avoid any real jail time. Nowadays, her luck might be wearing thin in the court of law. According to TMZ, Lohan had a chance to take a plea deal in her current case, which would see her pleading a no contest and having to participate in a six month rehabilitation program.

Instead, the actress surprisingly dismissed her attorney and is contending that she did no wrongdoing in an incident where it was alleged that she not only crashed her car but lied to police officers. TMZ's report claims law enforcement officials have her "dead to rights," due to the fact that she claimed she was the passenger in her car--a claim that has overwhelming evidence against it.

Should Lohan lose this case, it could be a roughly 19 month jail sentence for her and because of a potential probation violation another 245 days on top of that. Worst-case scenario, that would be over two years in prison for Lohan. On top of being sentenced to jail, Lohan could lose thousands to millions of dollars in potential film roles and endorsements.
