Maybe in 3D it wont but Jurassic Park is almost always great, if this movie is about Alan, it WILL be great.

If they're just re-releasing the original Jurassic Park only this time in 3D then I'd say probably not. Most of the movie was shot in dark sets at night iirc. Dark doesn't transfer very well to 3D. You can't see the picture when you're wearing Dark 3D glasses so it defeats the purpose. It's just movie companies trying to milk more money out of the consumer.

ANY movie that wasn't originally filmed in 3D is going to be crap in 3D, it always looks like it turns everything into cardboard cutouts.

It was only OK to begin with. But I guess enough people will buy tickets to make it worthwhile to the studios. I have to wonder how good the 3d can be on a film originally filmed in 2d. 3D is kinda dicey even when made that way. There are a couple of others I've seen advertised that they are doing the same thing with, such as Titanic. Again, not that good to begin with.

I hope it will - but it will just be jurassic park + pointless, annoying gimmick.

Jurassic park is awesome, but a 3D overlay is not worthy of re-release.
