Will 'Dumb and Dumber 2' Be as Good as the Original?

It's been 18 years since the release of the Farrelly brothers' debut film, "Dumb and Dumber." Along with "Ace Ventura: Pet Detective" and "The Mask," released the same year, "Dumb and Dumber" thrust Jim Carrey into the forefront of the film industry. Rumors about a possible sequel have been hovering since October, but last we heard it was still being written. This weekend, the Farrelly brothers confirmed it's underway.
The directorial duo told ComingSoon, "We're getting set to shoot 'Dumb and Dumber 2' in September. We've got Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels back ... We did not do 'Dumb and Dumberer.' That was a studio thing. So we've always wanted to do a sequel and finally Jim called up. Jeff always wanted to do it. We always wanted to do it. Jim was busy, but he called and said, 'We've got to do this thing again.' He had just watched 'Dumb and Dumber' and he said, 'This is the perfect sequel. Let's do it.'" But will it live up to the hype? That's for you to say.

+10First of all the first one wasn't so good. The only way this one might could be better is if it stars Ofraud and Biden. It would be ironic that for the first time in their lives they wouldn't have to act.
REMAKE OLD MOVIES HOPING to be MORE SUCCESSFUL; or AT LEAST, EQUALLY
VICTORIOUS as their PREDECESSORS! SADLY, IN SPITE of all AVAILABLE
MODERN TECHNOLOGY, THEY SELDOM ACHIEVED neither of their WISHES.

I knew the movie would be at least good if Jim Curry were starring in it... and I kinda settled for that because I was not up for what's become too common in many American movies...just a lot of trying to be funny by some actors who look good ... but appear out of their element when it comes to making people forget their troubles through laugher! I settled ... but was swept away with the right kind of laughter in this movie. Like MS. Carol Burnett, Mr. Jerry Lewis, the 3 stooges, Jonthan Winters, Rowan and Martin, Sandford and Son, Archie and Edith Bunker and, Flip Wilson, Ruth Buzy, Real actors who were able to transform themselves into clowns or their minds into the world of children and/or animals, before grown ups plug stuff into their minds that can alter their way of seeing and treating the world ...in color ... but not judging stuff and people according to color or a certain tax bracket but simply by what vibes they get from people, animals, places and things arou...

Kids can hollar and fight with each other ... and 10 or 15 minutes they will have forgotten all about what they were even fighting and fussing about and go back playing again ... and never even think about it again unless they tell a grown up about it. Look out, then comes wars of words and more misery! In the meantime the kids may even be sneaking around, still enjoying the company of one another. Dumb and Dumber was so delightful, much of the time it was hard to determine which was dumb and which was dumber... because they respected one another and had above all a loyal friendship ... which was worth all the bachlors, phds, and all that other crap that some people have ... but they have no real loyality to anyone or anything ... usually except money, power and the fear of poverty... something they can't even relate to ...in most cases.
Great word though, I thought I was the only one who used the word dreck. lol
