It's been 18 years since the release of the Farrelly brothers' debut film, "Dumb and Dumber." Along with "Ace Ventura: Pet Detective" and "The Mask," released the same year, "Dumb and Dumber" thrust Jim Carrey into the forefront of the film industry. Rumors about a possible sequel have been hovering since October, but last we heard it was still being written. This weekend, the Farrelly brothers confirmed it's underway.
The directorial duo told ComingSoon, "We're getting set to shoot 'Dumb and Dumber 2' in September. We've got Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels back ... We did not do 'Dumb and Dumberer.' That was a studio thing. So we've always wanted to do a sequel and finally Jim called up. Jeff always wanted to do it. We always wanted to do it. Jim was busy, but he called and said, 'We've got to do this thing again.' He had just watched 'Dumb and Dumber' and he said, 'This is the perfect sequel. Let's do it.'" But will it live up to the hype? That's for you to say.

+10First of all the first one wasn't so good. The only way this one might could be better is if it stars Ofraud and Biden. It would be ironic that for the first time in their lives they wouldn't have to act.
No, here's the most annoying sound in the world:
I realize that this might just be a novel concept to the people at Sodahead, the idea that you can have more than a yes or a no as an answer to questions such as these, but I truly think it's about time they looked at their own system and realized that it's possible to make SEVERAL options, rather than just two, in order to better support the community they have, which is NOT entirely black and white, but many shades of gray as well.
With that said, I like the original, I did not like the prequel. I'm glad a proper sequel is finally being made.
I DON'T KNOW if it will be as good as the original, but I really hope so.
