Will CB radios ever make a comeback ?

In the 1970's all my friends had CB radio's in their vehicles.They were especially popular in pick up trucks.Lots of truckers still use them as communication devices.I used the handle of "Pepper." They came in handy on the roadways.People used them to warn other drivers if local police were parked and taking radar.We used them to communicate with other friends in the area.You could ask other users for directions or how to get to a local business.Lots of people used them to meet new friends.Have you ever owned a CB radio?
My handle was "Man from Mars".
