Beyoncé may have lip-synced at President Obama's inauguration, but will she dare lip-sync at the 2013 Super Bowl? “It’s very difficult to sing and dance at the same time,” Mike Stevens, vocal chair at The Colburn School in Los Angeles, told ABC News. “So I would not be surprised if she lip-syncs.”

Lip-syncing may embarrass an artist, but a poor performance can do more damage. ABC reported that The Black Eyed Peas sang live during their Super Bowl halftime performance two years ago, and critics and fans both bashed the band for a bad showing. On the other hand, Madonna lip-synced during the 2012 Super Bowl, and only got a smattering of criticism.

Did she or didn’t she? There’s still no response from Beyonce on whether she was lip-synching her rendition of the “Star-Spangled Banner” during President Barack Obama’s second inauguration on Monday. As the superstar prepares for her Super Bowl halftime performance Feb. 3 in New Orleans, the pressure isn’t letting up. All eyes will be on her, paying minute attention to her performance. So will she or won’t she lip-sync at the game? That’s the big question.

will and did! AND only kissed ALL the black people , she passed up biden both times......disrespectful tramp. At least Kelly clarkson had CLASS she shook both of their hands and SHE ACTUALLY SANG......beyonce sucks- she ain't worth a crap.......fake ass.

why the Hell did they want her for the super bowl? after that fiasco? they couldn't find ONE good singer besides that Fake ass? OMG.. I won't be watching that... hope she trips off her stage.

Really guys?
Where was this same attention to everyone else who lipped synced in a performance before?
Say what you want, but Beyonce is one of the few female performers who can sing,dance, and entertain all at the same time during her live performances (without missing a beat). I commend her for that and WHEN she sings live everybody can shut-up.

I understand the counter arguments, but I think that someone as high profile and as rich as Beyonce should be able to justify why they are so- Aretha was able to belt out the notes in the Inauguration, so why not Beyonce? If she can fake her way through the Inauguration, then why shoudl she revere the Super Bowl?

How many music videos are NOT lip sybnched in the studios after a real voice track is laid to keep everyone in time for the shoot? Studio acoustics and engineering get the best out of the artist(s) where live or action recording is more than a little difficult.

more than likely i think its coming to surface now how much she is UN-Tallented and fake i remember i saw her two or so years ago on the t.v at Christmas it was a show in las vagas and i swear she was lip syncing there also, its really boils my blood that these so called artists are ripping kids off of their hard earned cash for someone who will not sing live or write their own material, i don't mind bands ans vocalists doing cover versions so long as its a constructive version but when you have singers and bands putting out they write their songs or sing live and they don't that bothers me in a big big way

Some people can sing in dry weather better than others, but by singing in dry weather, you do risk damaging your voice. So Kelly Clarkson thought it was worth the risk I guess.

Of course, if you were one of the singers that uses auto tune, it wouldn't matter. But for REAL singers, it does. Too bad there aren't many of those left these days. Kelly Clarkson is a real singer, she just is willing to take risks, I guess.
