From "Puss in Boots" to Pablo Picasso. Antonio Banderas has reportedly signed on for a docudrama about the iconic Cubist. The movie, called "33 Dias" (33 Days), will be directed by Carlos Saura and will presumably be filmed in Spanish. It will specifically relate the story behind the creation of Picasso's 1937 masterpiece "Guernica," pictured below.
Banderas told El País, "Picasso's a character that has pursued me for a long time and I always rejected. He deserves a lot of respect because I am from Malaga, and I was born four blocks from where he was born. He has always fascinated me ... It's a special film because it's about the 33 days of the creation of 'Guernica,' in the middle of the [Spanish] Civil War, with a Picasso whose heart was going out to Spain. I've already done my homework, I researched and read that he painted ["Guernica"] with some idea of impermanence, something that would not stay." Do you think Antonio Banderas could pull off playing Pablo Picasso?

Antonio Banderas can play anybody. I can just see Clint Eastwood casting him in "The Return of Dirty Harry!"
With that photo he could make a good Steve McQueen
