It’s only been a few days since Adele famously tweeted, “I'm delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together…. Obviously we're over the moon.” And, not surprisingly, the rumor mill is already buzzing with rumors that her baby daddy is about to pop the question. Since she’s already four months pregnant, they better start making plans if they want to walk down the aisle before the baby arrives.
Of course this is all happening pretty fast. The couple only made their first public appearance in January of this year. But reports are pouring in that 36-year-old Simon Konecki was planning on proposing to Adele even before the happy baby news. But it wouldn’t be Konecki’s debut trip down the aisle. He divorced his first wife, fashion stylist Clary Fisher, four years ago. They have a five-year-old daughter together.
If Adele has actually found happiness, it’s good news for the 23-year-old superstar whose hit records are based on heartbreak. In fact, two days before Adele announced her pregnancy, a new tell-all book called “Adele: The Biography” alleged that her song-inspiring, bisexual ex left her for a male friend of hers -- and on her 18th birthday to boot. Although Adele did tell Out magazine in 2011 that the songs “Daydreamer” and “Hometown Glory” from her blockbuster album “19” were about a bisexual boy she fell for, she’s never disclosed any other details.
But this time around, Adele seems to be on the right track to a successful relationship -- although who knows how true happiness will affect her music career. Still, the question remains: Do you think Adele’s boyfriend will propose?
