Although it's pretty good (especially for Nintendo), I don't think I'll get it. People have been saying that "Nintendo struck first in Next Gen Consoles with the Wii U" but honestly it's just catching up. First, the Wii was nothing near as good as a 360 or PS3, and it's only a little bit better than them, but it should be considering it's 5 years newer. When the new consoles come out, they're going to make the Wii U look like yesterday's trash.

This system is a true revolution, has GREAT games behind it, 3rd party included, and has been wowing just about everyone who's played it (Reviewers and convention goers). I can't wait, and I'm getting my 350 dollar deluxe console as soon as I can

I've been waiting for something new from Nintendo! If I have the funds I will get it, just a matter of time. I hope it's as awesome as it seems, not ready for a disappointment.

Mario is overrated, then there's the fact that Nintendo has had the same exact mascots for thirty years, But I'm willing to get a Nintendo 64 any day. ;)

But anything is better than X-Box. Anything.

so having the character that made them rich and famous as their mascot is bad now? mario link samus and kirby are trademark of ninty and those unique and very loveable characters have made them different from the others.

Well, of course they were, and still are, successful and of course they are unique, but they've been around for so long and star in the exact same games over and over so they're just boring now. Nintendo needs to get off their lazy asses and make something new for once. However I do enjoy Legend of Zelda.

Nintendo will always be number 1 in my life. they are a true example of how it's NOT the graphics or the ESRB ratings that make the game good, it's the quality of the game play.

    "Let's play, amen."- Josh Jepson

(i'd say Sony is a very close second though)

Yeah, every company does makes bad choices, I'm not saying Sony doesn't, but Microcrap is the worst out of all.

I sold my 3DS after playing Zelda OOT, right before the price drop, thank god. You couldn't actually play anything in 3D, unless you are a robot that can play sitting up holding the game-boy at a perfect angle. Plus the buttons were oddly placed. My hands were cramping the entire time. Part of the charm of the game-boy was playing while laying on the couch or in bed. I think I will wait quite a bit before dropping any money on the new console.

Nintendo- You abandoned us, the older hardcore gamers, who made you a success when you introduced the Wii. Now you are no different than a sex offender. You are both interested only in kids... :(

Wii U doesn't appeal to me.

It needs a good library of games. Nintendo has been loosing their edge recently with their games (re-releasing old Mario games and themes through "new" games; e.g, New Super Mario Bros), but hopefully they can regain their footing. I wouldn't mind a new 3d-platform Pokemon game (same plot as the Gameboy versions).

I'm very impressed by what it can do so far, but as per usual it all depends on the games. I'm not gonna buy an entire system just for the zombiu game.
