I don't know why people got bothered. The Queen was just chilling out, no make up, driving her favorite car. She was out in inclement weather wearing her hoody jacket and when she got in her car, she just did not have a chance to remove her hood before the paparazzo took her picture. In her private life, it is clear she is a very down to earth grandma.

Dont care. Hope she takes the Church of England back into the fold of Mother Church soon. Splitting from the Roman Catholic See was the DUMBEST thing Henry VIII ever did and it needs to be corrected. As the head of the Anglican church she can and should do that.

You can clearly see a little roll of fabric edging behind and above her right shoulder, by the seatbelt strap. It also looks like some patterning of brocade in a couple of spots, so I'm going with a head scarf. And yes, I'm American, but we aren't all stupid. People love the Queen because she is her own person, is down to earth, is gracious and does care that people are put to ease in her presence, and can handle herself. I love the Queen! She shows how women can be so refined, graceful, and rule a kingdom, all while having all the skills and more of everyone else. I think she has sincerely tried, from Day 1, to connect to her subjects, and not treat them like "subjects", and to maintain her ability to do daily activities like everyone else. That's why people love the Queen!
