Well, he has more talent and ability to judge than Demi Lovato or Britney Spears.

And he has been a long term successful artist. So, he would be more interesting AND a better judge. Gene Simmons would also be great.

Simon knew what he was getting, but I don't think it is exactly staged. More like he expected it when he hired her.

I think it was a rash decision on her part and the other judges, too. But I saw the video. The crowd was pretty much just as guilty as her. I mean, X-Factor is not your middle school talent show. I think it was just sad how the crowd was cheering for a guy that obviously couldn't sing. Giving him that kind of hope is just awful. And the judges kept glancing back like they couldn't believe it. At least she came back and put it to him nicely. It is, in a way, seen as kind of disrespectful. I mean, think about it. Somebody who obviously doesn't have a good voice comes up on national TV and sings a song that was created by one of the judges. It can make you frustrated, wondering if this was him trying to sing or just a joke? I, at times, don't know why these people get up there on a stage with an obviously bad voice. It's like they're hoping these judges are going to pass them through. To be honest? It's straight stupidity.

Though if I put my heart and soul into something and then had someone bastardize it in that abhorrent way, i'd walk off too.

In fact i'd walk off from anywhere, at any time, if I had to see a guy dancing around dressed in drag...keep it in your own home thanks.

She's a dumb incompetent southern girl who has attention issues. If something isn't about her, she'll make it about her.

It is called hype, the shows not doing great in the ratings and Simon more than likely encourages inappropriate behavior to keep interest going in a rather ordinary show.
