Radio stations play the same music because they are paid by the record companies to do so. This is why people need to start listening to independent artists more. I know so many people who think artists on the radio are Superior talent because they are on the radio, morons.

We need a new genra of music now.

I've often wondered about this myself, there are a few radio stations that play alternate types of music but there's still a lot of repitition even on them.

What do I think?
It is kinda like the media.

It started with the printed page with the saying that they present all the news that's fit to print, but actually they print all the news that fits.
Same with TV News.

It also goes with Radio and TV music.
How do we want to program society today?
Play and promote mostly the music that will do just that.
A lot of good stuff gets ignored in order to play over and over again the crap that will tweak our little minds to suit the manipulators of today's society.

Not that some good stuff does not make the airwaves some make it, just not enough.

We need a better use of the internet and get rid of the big music companys. Each artist can put their stuff on the internet and the trashy acts had better find a good plumbing job because they suck at music. People will pay if they're good and they have a choice.
