Well it's just a badly written series....and then let's face it a lot of the fans are down right rude. You go into a question like this be very nice about why you think Twilight is probably the worst series ever written and get called names.

Being that I am older....I can just say that there are way better vampire romance novels out there that are more adult in nature. Imagine reading a nice graphic adult vampire romance novel and then reading Twilight.....it's like switching from Danielle Steel to Dr Seuss.

critics compared its influence on the same level as Harry Potter. There could not be anything more different.

And well once I read the book I had problems with the writing style, characterization, plot, you name it. If I had to grade the book, it really categorizes as slightly below average or average. In the end, it goes back to how much praise the book was receiving to its real worth.

The reason why "some" people hate Twilight is because there are "some" people who cant stop talking about it all the time.

like me i "love" Twilight, but i dont think and talk about it 24/7. but there are those people who do.

people hate it for lots of reasons......but the ones i talked to said they hate it because girls keep trying to make them like it when they dont and the also hate it because they think the book is stupid ect. ect.....

I don't hate Twilight, i LOVE it. But i think it's stupid and annoying when girls only like twilight bcuz they think the guys are good looking (but im not denying the fact that they are good looking) and they call themselves fans when they haven't read the saga!

Undecided about the technical end of it since I haven't read the books or watched the movie(s) if there is more movies to come out. But I do not like vampire romances, if it sucks your blood, you are food, not its friend or lover. But that's just me, I prefer vampires to be considered evil by humans. If you like vampire romances, to each, and there are definitely some well rounded, mature people who really like Twilight. But the fangirls who swoon and drool over Edward or Jacob are completely obnoxious just like they are toward any other fictional character crush, it's just annoying. There are other things I've read about that happen in this series I dislike, such as imprinting.

Besides the fact that I did not like anything at all about the books, and I thought the movie was the worst crap I'd seen in a long time, and that half of the "fans" around here make it a point to be obnoxious, belligerent, rude, vulgar, harassing, and just plain ignorant, I'm just flat out sick of hearing about it.

It was nice at first, i mean the movie was good, i heard the books were sponntaneouse(sp?) but its just that its getting annoying when people obbsess over it. I mean all you see over the internet is "twilight this and twilight that". I mean people have the right there's nothing wrong with it but it just gets old. I mean in like a few months or a year, they'll forget twilight and find a new obsession. i mean didnt the twilight series end?

I have a number of reasons. Fans are one, the writing is terrible, the characters are blah-er than blah itself, plotholes the size of Jupiter, thesaurus rape, sexism, racism, and did I mention the fans who bombard the polls with repetative Twilight questions?

I don't like the series because I've been accustomed to reading actually well written novels, and let's be serious a sparkly vampire? a guy who sneaks into a girl's room and watches her sleep? - creepy and unhealthy.
