Why do people suddenly like The Beatles?

People have always liked The Beatles but younger people are getting more interested in their music because of Beatles Rock Band

The song is called Come Together. People have always liked the Beatles maybe your just recognizing it now.

Cuz of Beatles Rock Band, movies, and cuz they're awesome. I wouldn't be shocked if it's becuz parents were sick of the rap-crap that most teenagers listen to and made them listen to good music. I've always LOVED the BEatles and it's royally pissing me off that every1 NOW likes it instead of from the begining. I actully have formed a group of kids at my lunch table that are Goth/emo/scene, love the Beatles, and are smart enough to know more than 5 songs that the Beatles wrote. There are only about 7 of us out of 92 (on our team {most don't know, so forget it}) and 287 out of my grade.

I can't speak for the younger generation as to why, but us older fans who were there know why...fun, extremely talented, and cutting edge. The context of the times (the 60's) is important to understand their influence.

I have never stopped loving them!!!My daughter,who is 15,loves them as well and all her friends know almost all their songs!If more young people listen to them now.....well, that's GREAT NEWS!!Good for them!!!

I haven't noticed any recent trend but I would like to see a revived beatles thing happen.

I personally have always loved them, and I don't know a single person who doesn't. But the recent games and movies have brought them into the limelight a little more recently I suppose. The stores are just going off of the newly revived hype.

I think it was all started when " Across the Universe" came out.
It introduced a new generation to something that we've been trying to tell them about for years. Kinda like with the Comic Book Hero movies.

Suddenly? Beatles fans have been in the know for 40 plus years! Beatles songs never go out of style...nor do Zeppelin, Hendricks, Joplin, and all the other trailblazer songs from the 60s and 70s rock movement!

The Beatles are like Elvis, they never go out of style.

I have always loved the Beatles and never stopped listening to their music..I think people have started to like them because they are getting tired of hearing the same crap that is out their today..The Beatles lyrics still hold true for a lot of people and they can relate to it..The music itself is awesome...

Because a video game was made featuring them. However, The Beatles were an amazing band, so getting turned on to them is not really a bad thing.

well the beatles i sa good band sometimes but i guess since rockband is a "real deal" game who is promoting the beatles i guess.

hm... interesting because i kinda just started listening to them... but it has nothing to do with rockband;
a girl on in my tennis team loves them (since she was little) and she always sings their songs and she told me to listen to them. so i've been listening to them...
they're pretty good. my mom liked the bealtes, too.

Well, the Beatles, ever since their big break, have always been popular. I myself am not a fan of them; I think they are very overrated. They broke up in 1970 and yet people are still cranking out unnecessary tributes of theirs; their popularity is something that easily annoys me. While I do think they had a few great songs, in my opinion, they already have enough money grabbing tributes out there that are superfluous which are making them overrated than they already were in the first place. I do acknowledge that they are a very influential band, but there are way too many other bands in existence to be focused on just this one nonendingly. I'm probably going to be flamed for this, but here are my thoughts.

Rock Band came out. It annoys me, as I am a life-long fan, that these idiot teenagers think they know everything about them.

hey, idiot, i dont like the beatles but if you are such a fan then be happy that the beatles have a wider fan base now and dont complain and dont insult teenagers for liking music just because they have just been exposed to it.

I don't possibly see how you could just be exposed to the Beatles! For real? I'm not downing you or anything, but my son is 19 and nows almost every word to most of their songs!

I don't mind that. I don't like the fact that they think they're the biggest fans because they've heard two songs.
