    it was just a repeat of the first 3,and stupid sub-plots (aliens,crystal aliens,no reason to revist area 51 warehouse,etc)

    All of the freaking above. The over the top moments weren't just over the top, they were CGI enhanced over the top. The script failed to develop the characters or plot. The plot failed to give a useful reality behind the skulls.

    This felt like parts of two scripts smushed into one in a hurry and a fanboy that wanted to see the "perfect" movie with aliens and Indys kid and Indy marrying Marion wrote it.
