Why are the Teenage public so easy to mold? And does the media play a part in this?

For example *teen turns tv on* Selena Gomez::OMG Justin Biebers sooo hot and amazing *the teen at school the next day 2 her friends* OMG Justin Bieber is soooo fiiitttt....... its seriously annoying 2 find that we live in this society where teens cant even make up their own mind on who is attractive the media tells us and we take it in and sutomatically believe it....what do you think??

i know some people are different....im different...but theres SO many out there that act the same and seem 2 copy everything the media puts out there
