I was hearing ppl dissing the movie, I m like lost on the hate, because I think the movie is going to be really cute. So wasup? Why everybody so p.o'd about this movie? Whats all the hooblah?

i dont have a problem with it, but some people are mad about the racists stereotypes such as her name being Maddy and that she works as a maid for a white family. oh and her prince isnt black either?

EVRY disney princess was messed up if u thought about it:

th queen in snow white put a hit out on her 4 bein th tightest virginator in th land
ariel was a fish girl that got magical plastic surgery an ran away 2 score a dude
sleeping beauty got roofied when sewing wtf?
pocahontas was after sum white meat
beauty & th beast... she wud hav gotten w/ him as a monster dog, srsly
cinderellas prince had a thing 4 feet

need i go on?

I have no problem with the movie.

One problem that people have is that the prince isn't black. Also, they're pretty much frogs the whole movie so her being black is kind of unimportant. She's not a black frog, she's green. And people were mad about her name, and that she was a maid.

Eh. It doesn't matter to me. I didn't like the book so I I'm not sure if I'll bother watching the movie. Still, it is Disney's first 2-D movie in a while...decisions, decisions...

I think it looks kinda cool. It's really about time they had a black princess though... They've had an Asian one, a Native American one, a bunch of European ones, a Russian one (I think Anastasia was Disney... I'm not sure), they've even had a mermaid one! I can't wait to see the movie.
