Dark Knight Rises is the clear must see. The close out of a trilogy thats gone beyond regular entertaining comic films and into the realm of actual good cinema.
Avengers comes second as Marvel studios finally pulls together a project long in the making. A series of individual films that culminates in a team film. DC isn't remotely close to this concept. Should be a great film.
Next is what looks like a little more serious a Spiderman film to counter those Iron Man and Thor films we've seen recently. When the first Tobey Spiderman came out it was something fresh and new - a comic movie that was fun and really put us into the character and his abilities. But that whole thing really degenerated and looking back on the whole triology so much more could have been done - much better choices in casting and plotting. So we'll see a fresh start.
I might actually see MIB3 even though it looks like a joke and the second one was awful. I'm always impressed when someone is cast to play a younger version of someone familiar and it looks like the pull it off masterfully. Thats why I find the second Austin Powers entertaining with Rob Lowe.
I kinda got interested in AL:VH until I realized it was another Burton flick. No thank you.
I'm intrigued with The Abe Lincoln one and might see it after it comes on television. The Amazing Spiderman I will wait and see to hear some of reviews before seeing it but I'll give it a chance because it looks like everything I hated/was disappointed in from the Rami films they appear to be fixing this time around. Men In Black III will be cool with that yummy and talented Will Smith back in black again! The Avengers make this girl super excited! That hottie Thor with Cap and Iron Man and the rest of the gang assemble and kick some butt! The Dark Knight Rises is one that I'm dreading when it comes out as I hated The Dark Knight (only thing I enjoyed was the beautiful and masterful, masterclass performance from one Heath Ledger). So Avengers it is with permission for them to assemble and make it so to wipe out the box office on opening weekend with record numbers.
I am SO excited for the Avengers, it is ridiculous. Instead of going to the parties after my graduation in May, I will definitely be seeing this movie with a few friends. ;)
Rolling with Melz on this one I'm a Marvel and yes the Avengers are Marvels but I always identified with Peter Parker/Spiderman under appreciated nerd with a heart of Gold that stands up for the average guy
cool, I Never liked how they brushed her aside in the original movies made her like a simple flirtation when actually SHE was Pete's first true love not Mary Jane!!!
