My little 9 year-old boy B-Bob. He hangs with his brother's friends in HS and skates circles around them. My wife had to get on them because they were giving him a hard time saying he was just showing off. But he is way past them in skill level. He went to a birthday party with kids his own age and they were gonna skateboard some in the garage and on the driveway. He jumped on a board and started doing "tricks" as much as you can on a flat surface and the rest of the kids just watched... wouldn't try anything because I think they were embarrassed. He's no pro, but he's getting pretty good. He's a natural athlete... I just wish he's pick a safer sport like football! ;)
