According to The Los Angeles Times, Snooki makes $1.2 million for "Jersey Shore." That's a heck of a lot of money just for being ... Snooki, but when you crunch the numbers, she only gets $0.16 per viewer.

Compare that to Chelsea Handler, who earns $12 million for her late-night talk show -- that's a hefty $16.70 per viewer.

MTV, look at what you have done. I hope you're happy. Now Snooki expects money for the rights to film her stupidity and alcohol laced antics. You could have paid her in booze for cheaper (I'm figuring Pabst Blue ribbon would have been fine) and gotten the same value. Also, you can get her shtick for free from pretty much any drunken bar slut.

100 pct agree. With all the backlash about the "1 percent" why isn't there more outrage over what these people and folks like Oprah and Madonna make? In this economy, it's outrageous. Our soldiers, policemen and firefighters should be making a hundredth of what these folks make!

Voluteers work for no money, the military is comprised of people who sold their lives for a paycheck. Any military member who actually joined with no pay would be a hero in my book...joining for that sign on bonus makes you a whore. If the military didn't pay there would not be one.

Who is Snooki? (I can proudly say I have never seen anything she is in except commercials and that is annoying enough. I just closed my eyes and clicked because all of the mentioned are annoying and should never be paid for television or movies.
