"Modern Family" actress Sofia Vergara -- who just received an Emmy nomination Thursday morning for Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Comedy Series -- also had another honor this week: she's the best-paid actress on television, according to Forbes.

Forbes estimates 40-year-old Vergara’s earnings between May 2011 and May 2012 to be $19 million, thanks to her hit TV show, endorsements and other projects (that bombshell figure doesn't hurt, either!).

So who comes in second on the list? Reality star Kim Kardashian, who earned a mind-numbing $18 million just for playing herself. Eva Longoria ranks third ($15 million); Bethenny Frankel comes in fourth ($12 million); and Khloe Kardashian Odom ($11 million) and Tina Fey ($11 million) are tied for fifth. Which actress is the most overpaid?

They're all kinda overpaid, really. Although I don't think Kim and Khloe should be on this list, because they're not actresses. They're reality TV stars, and there is a difference.

Also, doesn't Bethenny just host a talk show? Unless she does some other acting job that I'm unaware of, she should not be on this list either.

Honestly. I've never heard of this person , at least I know Eva longoria's name, but Bethany frankel? I don't even know why the kardashians are on here, I mean like they have a store, and a reality show, Tina is the director of a show that she also acts in, and Sophia is on modern family, I don't get why Eva longoria's name is at the bottom with bethany, I did some research in them and their like billionaires, but for what? I've honestly never heard of them.

It's all acting. If they didn't act to some extent then people wouldn't watch, it would be boring. Noone wants to see a family or person having "normal" issues or grocery shopping and having polite conversation at the dinner table.

Yes, it's a reality show but there is still acting involved. I don't care what anyone says, noone could possibly have that much drama in their everyday lives.

Reality shows only show a few hours out of countless hours of footage. Of course reality shows don't consist entirely of their everyday lives–– because only the dramatic, interesting scenes are being shown to the public.

Reality show stars have lazy days and polite dinner table times, but not many people want to watch that. So they just don't show it on actual aired footage; but that does not mean it is not there. It would be silly to think that.

By the way, "noone" is not a single word. It's "no one".

You're right, it is. It's become a habit of mine to write it that way because of how it's pronounced. It's a common mistake, one I somehow got away with all through school.

Say what you want but it's silly to think there is no acting involved in reality shows at all. Can we agree to disagree?

That is not really acting, it's reality tv an they are just followed by cameras throughout their daily life. I mean acting as in being on a show, reading scripts, etc

Have you ever watched those reality shows? It's all acting, they are all actors and actresses. If they didn't act or crank up the drama then noone would watch.

Not every actor or actress has received an award ..? They are reality tv stars and whatever you choose to call or not call them it doesn't change the fact that even reality shows involve some form of acting.
