In 2007, Claudia Schiffer told Vogue UK, "Supermodels like we once were don't exist any more." However, she did make one exception: Gisele Bundchen. Bundchen is a supermodel in the classical sense. Schiffer explained, "Her face is well known, her name is recognised. No other girl occurs to me that people in the street would recognise." Well, Forbes just published a list of the ten highest paid models in the industry, and it seems to prove Schiffer's point.
Not only did Bundchen make the top of the list, but between May 2011 and May 2012, she made more than the next six models on the list combined. Kate Moss, the second-highest paid model, made around $9.2 million during that time, while Bunchen made a staggering $45 million. Much of her income is from endorsements for brands like Versace and Pantene. Of course, that doesn't mean she's the hottest model on the list. Who do you think is the hottest of the ten?
