Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards are right around the corner -- airing on March 31st at 8P.M. on the popular kids channel -- and it got us thinking about the good ol' days. Who doesn't remember curling up on the couch with some popcorn and watching classic movies like "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" in the '80s, "Home Alone" in the '90s, and just about every animated movie we could get our hands on?

And the blast from the past doesn't stop there! There are also former child stars, boy bands and tween singers to discuss. Sure, we may not be kids anymore, but we can still have some fun reminiscing while we see current movies and musicians get their orange blimp. They still give out a blimp at those awards, right? ... Had any of the others done Broadway I might have felt differently but I saw Daniel in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying and earned a new respect for him. Not everyone can go from movies to the stage...

Would have picked Dakota had she not done that Twilight movie that was way beneath her.

He is a wonderful actor. I also wondered why Oliver Robins never gets recognition. He's the kid from Poltergeist, Million Dollar Infield & Don't Go To Sleep. I wonder what he's doing now.

Haley Joel Osment was great in "The Sixth Sense" (1999) and "A.I." (2001); Henry Thomas was a solid young actor in "E.T." (1982), "Misunderstood" (1984) and "Cloak & Dagger" (1984). It's interesting that most of the names listed are from the last ten years, with few exceptions. The question says "three decades." Only Drew Barrymore qualifies as from the 30 years ago. What about Corey Haim? Or Huckleberry Fox? Or Anna Paquin (from "The Piano")? Kirsten Dunst ("Interview with the Vampire)? Christina Ricci? Elijah Wood? Ricky Shroeder?

I LOVE Harry Potter and Daniel Radcliffe and he has become an amazing actor. (I loved the Woman in Black!), but Dakota Fanning was a natural from day one and just really stood out to me. I think it runs in her family, too. Daniel deserves recognition, but Dakota gets my vote here.

You have forgotten one of the most important child actors of all time. He's one of America's most important treasures. He's the one, the only, Neil Patrick Harris. From his start as the teenage doctor on Doogie Howser, MD at age sixteen his career has skyrocketed from not just television on How I Met Your Mother, to movies such as the Harold and Kumar trilogy, The Smurfs, and Beastly, to theater in shows such as Rent, Proof, Assassins, Cabaret, and Company, and a musical web show Dr. Horribles Sing Along Blog one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Not to mention how hot he is, his gorgeous blue eyes, his adorable smile, his amazing humor not only towards others but towards himself.

Bravo! I absolutely agree with that statement. She's been up there for 3 decades & still monumental at her craft. She hasn't lost her talent or fallen like poor Lindsey Lohan...most of the actors listed were not around 3 decades ago, so I responded to the question as it was asked. If the question was posed in the last decade, O may have chosen differently. I guess most responses were made because they didn't read the question.

OMG! I loved her in Leon: The Professional & V for Vendetta...The Black Swan was a bit psychotic, but I liked her in it. She's great in crazy films. LOL
