You probably haven't heard of Darren Criss, but you might have seen him as Blaine Anderson, an openly gay character on "Glee," or in his very own viral "Harry Potter" musicals.

And you'll be hearing a lot more about him now, because he was picked to replace Daniel Radcliffe on Broadway as the lead role in "How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying."

Notice, that's the real Harry Potter he's replacing. Coincidence? Maybe.

E! is trying to paint the story in a darker hue by suggesting Criss is trying to ride Radcliffe's coattails to the stars, as if shooting for the same roles as the Harry Potter will somehow catapult him to the top.

They're calling it the "Radcliffe express to fame."

As we mentioned, Criss played Harry Potter in the YouTube viral musicals "A Very Potter Musical" and "A Very Potter Sequel."

Coincidence, perhaps, but we're not buying the whole "sinister plot" theory. If anything, Criss is a fan of Radcliffe and honored to be taking the reins from a big name with similar interests.

Whatever the case, this is sure to give Criss' career a major boost. It's his first Broadway show, and he's coming fresh off the set of one of television's most popular series.

Ahhh I sat here for 5 minutes trying to choose. If I had two children this would be like asking me to choose my favorite. It cannot be done. I chose Darren simply for the fact that I have seen more different things from him. Daniel is the better actor, but Darren is the better singer/musician. It's like they both have awesome qualities. But Daniel is Harry Potter, but then again Darren is Harry freakin' Potter. If it was 'who is the better actor' it would be Daniel. If it was 'who is the better musician' it would be Darren.

Daniel is a better actor, and Darren is a better singer. I think Darren will make a fine replacement for Daniel in "How to Succeed...".

I love both of them, so it's hard to choose. However, I recently saw Daniel Radcliffe on Broadway and he was incredible. His acting choices, energy, his charisma...he was just incredible. I prefer him in that role more than his Potter role, and I think he's doing a lot to become more than just the guy who played Harry Potter. Seriously, when I think of him, I think of How to Succeed, not Harry Potter.

All that being said, Darren is very talented as well. He was great in A Very Potter Musical+Sequel and Glee. Dan has left some big shoes to fill, but I believe if anyone could do the role justice besides Dan, it would be Darren Criss. Besides, Darren is more of a singer than Dan is, so in that respect he might be a little better than Dan (vocally).

TL;DR - They're both extremely talented. Comparing them is a bit difficult because they shine in different areas, Dan in acting and Darren in singing. Apples and oranges.

While Dan is amazing, I'm just a super Darren fan. Besides, I haven't seen Dan in anything but Harry Potter, and Darren has been in many things, showing how much he can do. But Darren and Daniel are my two favorite people in the entire world. It's hard to pick.

Daniel Radcliffe really isn't all that talented. He's just Harry Potter. That will follow him forever, and while people will be able to see him outside of that role, they'll love him simply because he is Harry Potter. It's not talent people, you're just starstruck. Darren Criss, on the other hand, is fantastic. I mean, have you seen him on Glee? 'Nuff said.
