Super Bowl champ Victor Cruz said he turned down an offer to appear on the show, but Gavin DeGraw (singer of the "One Tree Hill" theme song) WILL join the cast, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Perez Hilton already said he would "LOVE" to be on "DWTS" (or any TV show, period) -- and he posed with "Dancing" pro Lacey Schwimmer last Saturday, USA Today reports. According to the paper, producers have also expressed interest in Paula Deen (post-diabetes announcement), Herman Cain (that would be interesting) and Regis Philbin.

Lol. I like her sense of humor about how she likes to look. @It takes a lot of money to make a person look this cheap!
I used to watch Paula Deen's show so she's my other choice.
Regis Philbin - He always on tv.. wouldn't be that exciting or surprising to me to see him dance.
Perez Hilton - Not interested. Can't say I really say I like this person. Just NO.
Herman Cain - Not really interested in seeing a politician dance. Would just be boring to me.
Stevie Wonder - That would be interesting to see. Even if he didn't get my vote.
My picks and I know they are unrealistic. Love the show but no A-list star would really want to go on it or personal reason that it's just not their thing.
Kate Winslet - Love her as an actress I know she can sing and dance a little even. Would be fun and interesting to me to see her there.

Most of these people are still too successful for DWTS to consider. They might take Perez for controversy and Stevie for ratings, but that's about it.
The show is pathetic. The judges as well. They can't even manage to do "classical" night right, and some of their "pros" have forgotten the music some of the dances were created with. At least one of those "pros" came out and said that classical was bad for ballroom. Of course, they also think Harry Potter music is considered classical.
The show is a mess. I'd rather see none of these people because the show is either cancelled or postponed for a major overhaul.
