Playing the role of England's late beloved Princess Diana will be no small task, no matter who it goes to, but following the success of "The Iron Lady," producer Stephen Evans wants to make a biopic about Princess Di, as well. And somebody's got to do it. According to EntertainmentWise, he's narrowed it down to two actresses: Charlize Theron and Carey Mulligan.

That's not a choice to be scoffed at. Theron won the Academy Award for Best Actress in 2003 for her portrayal of serial killer Aileen Wuornos in "Monster," while Mulligan was nominated in 2009 for her performance in "An Education." However, Theron is 36 years old, and Mulligan is only 26 -- younger than Theron was when she won the Oscar. They've both got some things going for them, and we're interested in hearing your pick!

Charlize oozes sophisticated, worldly... Not at all who Diana was (no disrespect)... When she got married she looked like a lost puppy already heartbroken. She matured but Carey would seem a better fit. Oh and Charlize is breathtakingly beautiful.. Wld be hard to believe . Diana was sweet and grew into being a "handsome" woman but...

Has to be a British actress. Carey Mulligan is the closest I can come up with. I'd rather her over Naomi Watts to be honest. I cannot see Charlize Theron as Princess Diana at all. Most American actresses bomb English parts.

Theron is tall, elegant and graceful like Diana was. She can play troubled and tortured really well too with her range of acting skills. I just don't see Mulligan pulling it off as well.

Charlize without the accent, nope... got to have that British accent.
Carey is becoming quite the actress but you know, I would prefer seeing Olivia Williams doing the part. yes I know, she's not young enough you will say.
But she is an excellent actress and has the accent.. Olivia Williams..

no she doesn't look much like the Princess but change her hair and let the hollywood types do their magic and who knows. I think Olivia W has classic beauty and she's a wonderful actress.

If it has to be done, it's got to be a British actress, no question. Plus, I've heard Theron attempt an English accent and it was not convincing in the slightest (being English myself, it's easy to judge). Not to mention Theron being far too beautiful - Diana was pretty, but it was understated like Mulligan.

I like Charlize, and she looks a bit more like Princess Diana but, Carey Mulligan is a better actress. Hands down! She would just mold into the role. I don't feel Charlize would. At least not as well anyway...

I think if she does it right she can act the role really well. Plus there is such thing as a good makeup artist, remember how Meryl Streep totally changed when in The Iron Lady?

Those of you who think that Charlize is too pretty they can easily change that. Clearly the producer knows some really good makeup artists.
