Who exactly picks the nominees?
The fact that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows wasn't nominated shows just how much of a farce the Academy Awards are.

That Extremely loud movie was not good, it did pretty bad with the critics too, so why is it up for grabs on best picture and not Drive? It was totally snobbed. It should've at least been nominated.... proves that the Academy is almost just as dumb as the Grammys.
"War Horse" will take best cinematography. I think "The Tree of Life" will take best score.
