The 84th Annual Academy Awards is right around the corner, airing on ABC Sunday February 26 at 7p.m. EST. And though the Academy has a pretty stable voting system in place, we thought it would be refreshing to let SodaHeads decide on the winner for a change. Enough of those stuffy and pretentious Oscar snobs, it's time for the people to decide what movie wins!

But then I give up on the judgment of these people, I mean last years best picture The Hurt Locker????? What the hell, did they not see the Hurt Locker, did they not see Avatar? I think the oscars are often chosen with emotion rather then intelligence. Come on Brave heart over Pulp Fiction. WTF

I voted for Jean Dujardin, who starred in "The Artist." I didn't choose him because I think he DESERVES it. I selected Dujardin because the Academy likes artsy-fartsy movies and the people who star in them, like "The Artist." Also, he won the Golden Globe Award for that role, and the Oscars often reflect the same winners. I'd love to see Brad Pitt win for his acting in "Moneyball," but he won't.

This is a category in which I must disagree with the majority. Both, George Clooney and Gary Oldham, did a much better acting job than Brad Pitt.

don't know the too odd names,but of the others only gary oldman can act! pitt and clooney should go for the bad and worst actors awards.

Brad Pitt ("Moneyball")

Brad Pitt has been looked over too many times. he should have won a long time ago for MEET JOE BLACK, A RIVER RUNS THROUGH IT, LEGENDS OF THE FALL, THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON are a few movies he could have won the Academy Award for. But then he's made what I personally would call a few real lulus. But that's only my opinion and I'm sure others wouldn't agree. A few of those lulus were FIGHT CLUB, SEVEN YEARS IN TIBETT, MR AND MRS SMITH and a few more that I personally didn't like. But as I said it's a matter of opinion. Even though I didn't like the lulus Pitt still gave a pretty good performance. But he dam well deserves that award for MONEYBALL.

The reason Brad Pitt hasn't won is because he cannot act. Everybody knows this. He is just a box office name which sounds good. Kinda like Rock Hudson whose name was a big box office draw, but be honest, the guy couldn't act either.
