  I do not care for Friends. For the life of me, I cannot comprehend why anyone would watch such drivel, besides Dumb and Dumber juveniles. Guess we've been dumbed down to that level of imaturity to pay mediocre people $1 million per episode. IMHO Thank You For Your Indulgence

  It's not that bad. I mean, watching a sitcom for 30 minutes as a form of escapism doesn't really dumb you down. But I understand what you mean about paying the actors too much.

  Would you really laugh, if there were no phoney laugh-track? Originally, sitcoms, like I Love Lucy, were done before a live audience. The most insidious invention in that genre' is the Laugh-Track. For example, I like William Shatner. He was outstanding as Denny Crane in Boston Legal-no laugh-track, but in his new, so-called sitcom, he stinks. The writer's are not of Woody Allen, Karl Reiner or Lucial Ball-Desie Arnez calibur. There is hardly any humor. It's Corporate Corruption of Humor.IMHO Thank You For Your Indulgence.

  Yes, I would laugh at most of it before the last few seasons without the laugh-track. I have no idea about William Shatner's new sitcom to be able to compare it with his performance in Boston Legal. I don't think that sitcom is even on here.

  UGH.... That is so unfair!!!! I can't choose just one! I loved them all... they all had their quirks and they all made me laugh. The show was just a good show with great characters.
