Sorry, alternative and screamo are icky, icky, icky. Also despite not being a huge fan of the Beatles I'll bet they've sold two-three times as many albums as any screamo or alternative music person has. So many people disagree :3

the Beatles are nasty. as a musician i respect them but i can not stand their music it makes me wanna shoot stuff. its horribly distasteful.

As I said I don't care a lot for them. But like I said I bet the number of albums they have sold overshadows any alternative or screamo band big time. There are also many other bands who have had a much larger influence and arguably have more respect from people.

Actually a lot of people do and still support bands. Given people illegally download things a lot. Also as I said many, and I mean many more bands have been very influential than any screamo or alternative band. Examples: Elvis, Led Zeppelin, ACDC, Ozzy Osbourne, Iggy and The Stooges, and etc.

I care and a lot of people also care. Theres also plenty of other bands that blow away screamo, and alterantive. Also another point is if no one cares anymore why are their records still being sold? Why is Iggy Pop still doing shows that sell out? Why is Ozzy still playing? Ringo, and Paul McCartney are still playing also. Not to mention Metal is still thriving.

okay when i said no one i didn't mean no one as in no people i meant no one as in no one with a good taste in music. also i like metal how ever i do not like it when stupid old folk tell me about "good" music and our completely wrong. alternative and screamo bands such as bring me the horizon, black veil brides, escape the fate, Tokyo hotel, green day, paramore, evanescence, all time low, and the all american rejects. will all end up with just as much fame as any past bands have and the reason they don't have it yet is because they haven't been around as long

First off, I am not old >.> at least not yet. Second, people's taste in music is an opinion not fact, personally I could probably name over one hundred bands that I think blow yours straight out of the water. Third you honestly think all of those will surpass the fame and record sales of the Beatles? Though I'll admit record sales don't mean everything, but 500 million is a lot. And finally, how exactly do you know that they will get nearly as much fame? Exactly how do you know?
