Which actress should play the Evil Queen in "Snow White": Charlize Theron or Julia Roberts?

Regardless of your answer, you'll get a chance to compare them next year when Universal and Relativity Media put out two different versions of "Snow White" to compete against each other.

Universal's version will be called "Snow White and the Huntsman," and Relativity Media's will be called "The Brother's Grimm: Snow White."

So far, the only solid hints about casting are the roles of the Evil Queen. According to E! Online, Universal is in talks with Charlize Theron and Relativity is going after Julia Roberts. There are also rumors that Natalie Portman is interested in the lead role for Relativity's production.

Theron won an Academy Award for her portrayal of a serial killer in "Monster," which could potentially make her a great pick for the role, and implies that Universal's version might be more intense.

Relativity's project sounds like it's sticking closer to the original fairy tale, with the Brother's Grimm in the title and Roberts as the Evil Queen.

And Scarlett Johansson as Snow White. I think she would look awesome with paler skin and dark hair. Julia Roberts is a non-serious Chick-Flick type actor. Maybe Keira Knightly for the evil queen? Eh, Charlize Theron would be good too..with the right make up and clothes.

Actually I can't stand her but Drew Barrymore would be pretty good too for snow white. Her soft voice, and her face structure.

I think it would be really interesting to see Julia Roberts play this role.I've already seen Charlize Theron play "the evil" or atleast less than likeable character and i wasnt very impressed.

Yeah. That may be a problem. Also, in one of her songs Katy Perry claims to have 'sun-kissed' which means tanned skin. So is she lying when she says that? She looks tanned to me.. But I'm sure I just see all the photoshopped pictures of her. But still, I don't think she has enough of an 'innocent' look to play Snow White. Just my opinion.

Charlize seems like she could pull of the whole evil thing a lot better than Julia could. Julia seems like a mom. A mom isn't EVIL. Actually......... that would be the ultimate nightmare.

There's no question about it Charlize Theron should be the evil queen.
i give Julia her due, but Charlize has the look, and Julia is hard to take that seriously.
No offense to either woman but i believe that Theron is far more sinister.

Considering I can't stand Julia Roberts, I would find it quite believable for her to play the Evil Queen in Snow White. Angelina Jolie is another great choice.
