I have seen every season of American Idol...and I really think that they should just stop making the show already. The winners aren't becoming as famous as they used to get.

An absolute unknown such as myself would make a far better judge of real talent on American Idol than people, such as Degneris and Adam Lambert or the NOT so experienced Kelly Clarkson, or the youngster, Miley Cyrus, etc. I have always given an honest and accurate critique and know talent when I see or hear it. But hiring a nobody is about as logical in the eyes of big money as playing the lottery with odds of 1:175 million.

Stop with the celebrity parade. No one in the states knew who Randy Jackson was (unless you were an extreme devotee of Journey), or Simon Cowell; Paula had been off the map for several years. But it worked because they ALL have credibility. They were picked because of their resumes, not their pre-judging stint popularity. We need more behind-the-scenes people in those chairs, and less mainstream, corporate manufactured 'artists' (though I will acknowledge that Lady Gaga, Adele, and Steven Tyler do not fit into that definition). These people only know what it's like to perform and got lucky that audiences liked them. It's the opinion of people who sign these artists that matters.

HEY! Steven made the show great! The best that it has ever been! His knowledge and humor made it amazing, but he needed to focus more on his band. And I agree with him. But NO ONE DISS ON STEVEN!!!!
