We've lost track of all the ridiculous things Courtney Love has done recently. There was the time she "leaked" skanky, censorship-worthy pictures of herself on Twitter, and the time she accused Dave Grohl of sleeping with her daughter. Oh, and the time she said she had "no connection" with her daughter. Anyway, add one more strike to that list. She lost the rights to the estate of her late husband, Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain. We're so shocked.

According to The Fix, Love's 19-year-old daughter, Frances Bean Cobain, gained control of Kurt's estate because Love took a $2.75 million loan out of Frances' personal trust fund in 2010. Love cannot receive any money generated from Kurt's "name, likeness or appearance" since 2010 until she pays back the loan. Frances also has the ability to make business decisions on her father's behalf. Who do you think should have control over Kurt Cobain's estate: his widowed wife, Courtney Love, or his now 19-year-old daughter, Frances Bean Cobain?

he had a drug addiction. Who's to say it wasn't the drugs that made him do it. His daughter is more responsible. His wife is crazy and doesn't even deserve to lick the dirt off her daughter's feet.

I think ole Court has shown many times through the years for her inability to control her own behavior let alone an estate in the multimillions. It would just be pissed away quickly giving it to Love.

I suppose that's true but I have never felt or understood the darkness one feels when they make the decision to end it all so I try not to judge. I think Kurt loved his child and he would want her to have what was his.

I think he loved his child and his wife but he was selfish and took the dark way out and left them. Don't get me wrong I am a big Nirvana fan and I think it is a sad story and what I really don't understand is how that trust was to be able to be touched at all, what's the point of setting up a trust if others have access to it that it is not for? When dealing in large amounts of money you will see some of the worst behaivior possible.

frances bean. no question. shes the only innocent person in that situation. from what ive always heard courtney and kurt were on the splits right then anyways and though some would disagree courtney is not kurts blood kin. Frances is. This would be a father stepping up to the plate and and taking care of his child. An oportunity he never had because he died so early on in her life. give the kid what should be hers...... or give it to me that place was beautiful lol

Frances is very close to her grandmother, Kurt's mother. Since Frances never got a chance to know her Dad I think with her Grandmother and some trusted advisors sha can successfully help his legacy carry on. Her friendship with Dave will help also.

Okay, whether she pulled the trigger or drove him to pulling the trigger, it's her fault Kurt is dead. Hell, even Courtney's own FATHER believes that she played a role in his death. She should have NEVER had control over Kurt's estate, and I'm happy HIS daughter is finally in control. Hopefully she proves to make wiser decisions than the woman who raised her...
