I +LOVED+ that show! It was one of the funniest shows in TV history. Funny and creative, too.

It had one of the best ensemble casts too: Ruth Buzzi, Goldie Hawn, Artie Johnson, Henry Gibson, Lily Tomlin, Alan Sues, and a bunch more. They worked together the way other shows wish they could.

Please believe that it was so funny I was laughing out loud. Those who are too young to remember it have missed a great experience.

I was watching an old rerun of it a few years ago and in the "news" section, they were laughing and making jokes about the new president "Ronald Reagan." This was decades before he became president. I loved the fact that they had picked the most far-fetched, ridiculous scenario they could come up with and then twenty years later it came true. LOL

Oh my gosh, I found it and it includes a joke about the Berlin wall coming down too! I love how they snickered at "President of the United States, Ronald Reagan..." like it could just NEVER happen. LOL

It was a great show plus the fact it was funny and never used a laugh track, unlike the shows today.

I watched it as a child. One of the most "risque" programs my parents watched, actually.
