Hard to decide between Michael Keaton and Christian Bale. Just 2 different eras. Michael Keaton brought a new face to the Batman, and certainly gave a performance ahead of its time. But Christian Bale brought an even darker, no nonsense, don't mess with me attitude to the Batman that Keaton couldn't have done. I can't choose, so I won't.

I haven't really seen all the Batman movies to vote on any of the others, but among the ones I've seen,I think Christian Bale played a better Batman than Michael Keaton or George Clooneymand I really wish he's play Batman in the next movie they're talking about.

I thought Adam West was corny as batman as was the actor who was Robin
I think all the other actors were superb as Batman, so it's hard to decide.

Michael Keaton was by far the best Batman out of all the actors. He showed the true personality of batman and the darkness and struggle he has by being batman. He had the voice between Bruce Wayne and Batman, bale sounded like he had something shoved down his throat.

I like the way Michael Keaton's lips protrude from under the mask. I find it very sexy.

I think that it is a toss up between Michael Keaton who I thought was the ultimate Batman until I saw Christian Bale who is also VERY good. I would be very torn to have to make up my mind between the two of them, so I vote for both! :)

The way Burton shoots the movie like a horror film, with Batman as sort of a horror/ boogeyman. Keaton is 100 percent believable as a Norman Bates type guy too, who's crazy enough to hustle this city and have criminals "tell all your friends about me." We see Bruce as a socialite, a playboy (sleeps with Vicki Vale pretty quickly) but he is both subtle/complex at the same time. Keaton, as Bruce, always seems distracted. "When Vicki Vale joins him at Wayne Manor for dinner and asks whether he likes the room they're in -- cold and lifeless -- he says, 'Oh yeah,' then looks around, puzzled. 'You know, to tell you the truth, I don't think I've ever been in this room before.'" - Huffington Post.

Christian Bale was awesome too. A close second. He was brilliant in the beginning, during his training, and calculating how to become Batman - an idea Keaton actually suggested for a film before Forever came out. But I'd still go with Keaton. "It's as if this Bruce Wayne is using all his intensity, all his concentration, for Batman, leaving none for himself. You could say he's never really there as Bruce Wayne because he's not Bruce Wayne. He's Batman." - also from the Huffington Post.

Nobody shed light on the complex conflicted character of Bruce Wayne better than Michael Keaton. Bale pales in comparison. On another note, what's up with all of these re-makes?? Can't Hollywood come up with an original script anymore?? We already saw Batman & the Joker in 1989 why do they keep recycling movies?? 1989 wasn't even that long ago, I could understand if it was 1960 for chrissakes, but '89 doesnt even make 20 years and is firmly in most of America's collective memories. Hollywood is weak on talent and ideas. Just break out some new storylines PLEASE!!!!

I'm stuck between Val Kilmer and Christian Bale.
At first I hated how Bale made his voice raspy like that, like he had a cancer in his throat or something, but it grows on you. And Val, well I liked his portal of Batman
