He’s Kevin Conroy , who was Batman far longer and more often than your entire list combined (from “Batman: the Animated Series” in 1992 [85 episodes — this alone puts him above all of those others combined!] through several other series and movies up to and including the final episode of “Justice League Unlimited” in 2006, and even more since then with video games and direct-to-video movies, up to and including “Superman/Batman: Public Enemies” which is still in post production as I post this).
He did a better Batman with just his voice than any of the others (except Bale) did with their whole bodies.
His “Batman: Mask of the Phantasm” in 1993 was and remained the best-ever Batman movie until “Batman Returns,” which roughly tied it in quality, and was only unarguably dethroned by “The Dark Knight” (and that more because of Heath Ledger than Christian Bale). While it was animated, it was far and away less cartoony than the Tim Burton movies, let alone the Joel Schumacher ones (even the “Super Friends” Batman makes the Joel Schumacher films look like lame cartoons in comparison).
(And no, the “The Batman” animated series doesn’t hold a candle to the real thing.)
Admit it. If you were a child or teenager or even yo...

Admit it. If you were a child or teenager or even young adult in the 1990s or early 2000s, his is the voice you think of when you think “Batman.” Not anyone else. Not even Bale. And when you compare the movie actors, his portrayal is what you’re judging them by, if only subconsciously. In your mind, the others are actors portraying Batman. Kevin Conroy is Batman. Period.
and anyone who decided on Michael Keaton shouldn't even consider themselves a fan of the caped crusader. haha

I love that the first shot has the thug asking, "WHAT ARE YOU?" and the next one has him 'suddenly' pulled straight into Batman's eyes and 'he' says, softly, "I'm Batman."
