My is Steinbeck. I find his writing to be a lot like real life, but without being soap opera-y nor sugary. Bittersweet, and I do appreciate it.Steinbeck

    "It's is"? lolwut? For a literary-based poll, the grammar sure isn't up to par.

    Personally, I hate Steinbeck. Actually, I tend to despise all American literature—probably more than I should. —With the exception of Twain and Bradbury.

    My favourite author is a cross between Franz Kafka and Natsume Soseki. I think if it came down to it, I'd choose Soseki, but Kafka just has a way with entrancing me beyond the ink.

    Sorry about that. I couldn't alter it after it posted. Anyway, taste is unique. I don't like Kafka much and Bradbury is fine some of the time. As for Twain, read him many times and I still don't like him.

    George Orwell or Agatha Christie. Christie, for her brilliant plot lines and inventive answers to who killed the butler, and Orwell, because of his honesty in his writing.

    Ahahaha! Well, he gives lectures at a lot of venues (universities, for example), and travels America do do these. So keep your eyes open and maybe one day (has to be soon, he's nearing the end of his life) you'll be able to meet him :D
