The gamer site IGN.com has compiled its list of the Top 100 "Star Wars" characters, and they've been asking celebrities throughout the year for their favorites as well.

If you think it's the chick with the cinnamon buns for hair, or that little, wrinkly green guy who talks backward, you need your light saber sharpened.

IGN's favorite character of all is Darth Vader, who was, however, less popular among the celebrities interviewed. Only 6.29 percent went with Darth, and Bruce Willis and Guillermo Del Toro weighed in as his biggest fan.

The most popular among the celebrities was Han Solo, the iconic character played to breezy perfection by Harrison Ford. Solo captured 31.25 percent of the celebrity vote. Supporters include Michael Cera, Dolph Lundgren, Adrien Brody and Mark Wahlberg. IGN liked him too, ranking Hans Solo at No. 2.

Other celeb favorites are Obi Wan, Boba Fett and R2-D2. Yoda mustered a dissapointing 4.68 percent of the celebrity support.

Yoda likes this not.

Anakin was actually the hero of the entire Star Wars saga, not Luke.

Very little struggle with Luke, little chaos. Little evolution.

Much chaos in Vader. And he dun right in the end. That's the West Virginian panhandle view of the series anyway.

Pre-prequels, I did like Boba Fett the best. As long as I pretend that the prequels don't exist, I like a lot of the characters, still. If I actually think of the prequels as part of the same universe, though, all of the characters suck, since Lucas turned them all into wussies and whiners.

And the acting was rubbish to boot. Liam Neeson was perhpas the only great actor of the bunch. Ewan McGregor was good, but nobody can survive with a script like that,

Liam Neeson is an awesome actor. But if you really think about Qui-Gon Jinn...what exactly was so good about him? His character was almost completely hollow.

He was very calculating and thoughtful. He was also a bit of a rebel, going against the people who are above him so he can do what he thinks needs to be done. Besides that, a bit empty. At least he wasn't over acting.

He was also only in one of the movies. Sadly, the other characters were even more hollow in the prequels. They were nothing more than pointless drivel that had nothing to do with the originals, except for names. After all, if you have to alter what has already been made to create a prequel for that, then the prequels have failed in their purpose.

They both had Homers hero's journey. Luke made it there with out killing millions of people. Luke is a way more righteous hero. Without luke no anakin salvation there is.
