    I think he was patterned after the local cop in my home town in the 50's. Our town cop 'Brownie' was afraid of his own shadow and gave us hours of laughs. He even looked like Barney. LOL

    Barney was the ultimate sidekick. In early episodes, they said that Barney was Andy's cousin.

    You have to laugh at the bullet in the pocket gag that went on for years.

    I loved the first Shrek! It was great, and Donkey was a pretty kick ass character! =) It wouldn't have been the same without him.
