    i really think it's the performer...even though the producers and other people who work on the album are there too...the performer is told to do certain tasks...plus it is the performer who makes the company money...

    i picked none of the above because all of the above wasnt an option... if the lyrics are great but the music sucks, then the whole thing sucks and vice versa... and if the album is produced badly it ruins the sound of the cd no matter if it sounds good or not

    It takes more than one person to create an album, so no one is more important than another, especially because the people involve feed of each others creative energy to add yet another level to the music. Sure, you can work alone and have something good, but it takes a team to make something great.
