You have no respect for your President what a disgrace.

The man is disgraceful. He is in favor of political doctrines that are foreign to this country. Obama has divided this country and is a racist. He has disgraced himself and the American people.

You know you can pull that shit on the stupid ones that don't know any better but I know you low life racist antiamerican bullshiters that care nothing for this country. You favor big business that cheat the average americans with your communist / facist lies and divisivess that keep the spotlight off your immoral shit. But your day has come and you are done there is no going back to your hate days, they are done too.
  • Lorenzo rosepetal September 10, 2009 15:18:05
    Lorenzo
Rose, Rose, Rose. Read your statement. You are hate filled, misinformed, and an Obama clone incapable of rational thought. I truly feel sorry for you. I certainly don't favor big business. I am not the one running General Motors. Your man, the Manchurian Teleprompter runs GM. When you get half a brain, write me back.

Well ask the rank and file how they feel that they are still working and providing for their families and ask the small businesses that supply GM that are able to keep their businesses open. Look at more than your small minded polotics and see your american brothers needing your help. If we can help others in the world why not take care of home? Some of those men and women went to war to protect this country and now they can't get help? And when has it been foreign to help your own? You are being used yourself to harm your own american citizens with your lack of compassion for your own.
  • Lorenzo rosepetal October 02, 2009 12:13:32
    Lorenzo
There were better ways of helping people other than potentially bankrupting the country. GM should have went out of business. The economic recovery would have went much faster, and that would have helped the people that you claim to care for. I suffer from a lot of things, but false compassion isn't one of them.

i'm not American, so we don't have all of these news channels (although we do have some), but it's interesting that the majority of people who voted trust Fox News the most, as it has a reputation for being one of the most Right-wing biased news sources around...

The problem is neary all news sources are biased. The very act of selecting which news to report is based on someone's personal viewpoint. It may be the anchor, news director, or network owner. It also may be based on politics - political favors to the parent company.

that's what i mean, it's surprising so many people here on SH trust it the most, when it's known to be one of the most biased news sources...

You idiot you are in the dark that is the problem. Deaf, dumb and blind. americans at least most intelligent, thinking, reading americans are not viewing our current president as sinister or a communist. The republicans are dumbing you down without a fight from you. they are getting you to cut your own throat with all this bullshit.

I'd also have chosen Fox if two choices were possible, as I feel Bill O and Greta do an honest job ... it is tough to beat Becks ' Take No Prisoners ' approach.

I notice you don't list Hannity ... not that I mind, as I don't care for his incessant agitation even if he does get it right ... do you also find him ' Un - Entertaining / Annoying ' in the same manner and fashion as Olbermann or did he not make the list for other reasons ?

My faves ... O'Reilly, Dobbs, Beck, Greta, Levin (edit) ... damn near forget Michelle Malkin

    MSNBC (comment)

MSNBC has a STRONG pattern of doing a good job of backing up their opinions with solid data. Other outlets rarely even feel the need to try.
  • Johnny-O Spizzzo August 27, 2009 04:27:51
    Johnny-O
That's true. Both Maddow and Olberman always back up their data, and you should see Chris Matthews tear into someone with facts to back up his case - onetime, last year, he had on a rightie radio talk show host who was so loudly sure he had Obama dead to rights on the issue of being an 'appeaser'...

Chris asked him, over and over again, "What was it that the originlal appeaser, Neville Chamberlain, did to deserve such a label? What dio he do? What did he do? Besides meeting with Adolf Hitler?"

He asked him this over and over again, for ten minutes, and finally he made the fool admit that he didn't know that Neville Chamberlain signed away the whole of Sudetenland in Czechoslavakia, and also approved the annexation of Austria, all without firing a shot - and just basically dismantled the guy!

His point was, meeting with a potential adversary (like Ahmendinijad of Iran, or even Kim Jong Il of Korea) jsut to talk is NOT appeasement! You have to give the store away to be an appeaser, and so far, Obama has only made friends overseas wherever he has gone.

It was beautiful to watch! On Fux News, all they ever do is order somone's microphone shut off!

    Hahahaha, I love it!

Yep. I respect Matthews a LOT for insider politician-infighting analysis and general knowledge, but I do find his style of stepping all over interviewees as they try to answer and his occasional tendency to plow on with with set questions rather than truly evaluating what the interviewee has said to be disconcerting, and to make him less of a great interviewer. OTOH, as you point out, his bulldog persistence in MAKING the interviewee respond to his actual question can pay off, bigtime.

Olbermann is the most entertaining, but is also the one who can go "over the top" at times. It's quite clear when he does so, though. He's not fooling anyone when he does.

I have a lot of respect for CNN, but dislike a LOT their rather new reliance on the reporting of Twitter activity in response to their stories as "real news". They're not trying to support their arguments enough, either.

They all suck. Commentators instead of journalists. I'd rather read the onion (not a real news source) than the other questionable logic sources. They all have a huge spin zones.

None of the Above or ALL of the above which is an answer that should have been here, I watch fox news , i watch CNN, i read the news , on a blue moon i might even watch one of the prime networks .
Not all of us are sheep , we know that all news channels are tainted and report the news THEY want us to hear in the tone and light they want us to view it in.
IF there was even 1 news outlet that gave me the plain honest truth without there own agenda tainting it i would without a doubt watch only that 1 channel , as hard as it is to believe WE THE PEOPLE can actually form our own opinions when given the chance.
