I'd like to see the original. When I was looking for the original on tv to see if it would be on this week, I instead got results with words like "electronic", "strongest" and "Neutron".
Actually, my husbband is excited about it. We both saw the original when it came out (long before we met) and recently just saw it again with friends. So, I know he wants to see Tron: Legacy.
As a general rule I RARELY like remakes and "updated versions" of classics. Eddie Murphy as Dr. Doolittle? David Soul in "Casablanca"? John Revolting in "Taking of Pelham"? NOOOOO.
But this one may be the exception. From all I've seen it seems to retain the original concept and makes great use of state of the art technical skills. I am looking forward to it with great anticipation.
But my father is dead set on seeing it in the theaters. I have never seen him so excited about a movie in my life. My god. =)
I'm sitting there, "Hey Dad? Can we go see Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows?"
"No."
*Tron Legacy Trailer comes on*
"WE ARE GOING TO SEE THAT."
"But, but...Harry Potter...." :(
Woops, guess I meant excited. I am too young to have seen the original when it first came out, but I have seen it, and it was pretty good for it's era. This new one looks to have more plot and shiny colors, so I'm totally going to be first in line on opening day.
i would like to see it but im not tht exited
I love the Marvel/Tron pics too:
