Who Do You Believe: Charlie Sheen or the L.A. Mayor?

The Sheen/Villaraigosa alleged friendship is turning into a case of "he said/he said." At some point during the day of the opening of Charlie Sheen’s new bar Epic at the Hotel El Ganzo in Los Cabos, Mexico, a photo of the “Anger Management” star and Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, was snapped.

So as not to be associated with the actor and all his bad habits, Villaraigosa quickly released a statement saying that it was just a photo op and he and Sheen are not buds. He told NBCLA, “I had a three-minute conversation and took a picture with him, that simple.... I take a picture virtually every single day, 50 times."


But Sheen is having none of this. He told TMZ that the pair spent hours together in his room at the Hotel El Ganzo talking about Los Angeles, campaigning and watering lawns. Charlie stated, “He's a terrific guy, a great Mayor and he can drink with the best of 'em: Me. Quite a memorable night indeed." Charlie also said the room was filled with numerous hot chicks including one porn star.

Sheen claims as an actor who memorizes scripts every week he does not have a problem with his memory and recalls the evening vividly. So is the mayor distancing himself from Sheen to keep his name from being dragged through the mud or is Charlie just being a bad boy to stir up some publicity?
