This year's Academy Award nominees were announced Tuesday morning, meaning the weeks leading up to February 26 will be filled with rumors and speculation. Michel Hazanavicius' "The Artist" and Martin Scorsese's "Hugo" lead the list with 10 and 11 nominations respectively, but there were plenty of movies with multiple nominations. "Moneyball" and "The Descendants" did well, allowing Brad Pitt and George Clooney to vie for Best Actor.

We put together a Quick Vote poll for the major categories so you can find your way around the nominations and get involved in the discussion right away. Gary Oldman! Although I have not seen this movie yet, I totally support every role Mr. Oldman has taken. Check out his filmography to see his amazing work, now....compare it to Brad Pitt....nuff said!

Haven't seen Clooney, Oldman's and Bichir's offerings, and while Pitt was excellent in Moneyball, Dujardin's performance in The Artist was nothing short of incredible. He carried this whole film just by his own physical presence, a true performance.

Gary Oldman's performance was stellar, as his always are, and the Academy really needs to do right by an actor who has maintained exceptional quality in his profession for over 20 years.
