This year's Academy Award nominees were announced Tuesday morning, meaning the weeks leading up to February 26 will be filled with rumors and speculation. Michel Hazanavicius' "The Artist" and Martin Scorsese's "Hugo" lead the list with 10 and 11 nominations respectively, but there were plenty of movies with multiple nominations. "Moneyball" and "The Descendants" did well, allowing Brad Pitt and George Clooney to vie for Best Actor.

We put together a Quick Vote poll for the major categories so you can find your way around the nominations and get involved in the discussion right away. Gary Oldman! Although I have not seen this movie yet, I totally support every role Mr. Oldman has taken. Check out his filmography to see his amazing work, now....compare it to Brad Pitt....nuff said!

I saw this movie with my dad and we thought it was great. The whole movie was funny in my opinion and I thought it was great how well he played off of other characters and he just nailed the role.

I haven't seen any of these films but I like George better than the other actors
on this list. Also I hear that 'The Descendants ' is a good movie so I am going with
George as a hunch.

The only movie I have seen is ' Moneyball ' which was excellent. As much as I like Gary Oldman, Brad Pitt is an outstanding, underrated actor. ' Troy ', ' Benjamin Buttons ' especially. ' Joe Black ' and ' Mr. & Mrs. Smith ' less so. I'll have to see the other four.

I'm torn by this one because I believe Gary Oldman is a great and underrated actor. It's wonderful that he got a nod from the Academy. Didn't see Moneyball but I guess Brad was really good.

Brad Pitt was great in "Moneyball", but it takes a special kind of performance from George Clooney to make you enjoy a film about so depressing a subject. I do want to admit that I have not yet seen "The Artist", and, in all fairness, I could change my mind, if Jean Dujardin is really outstanding. I think George will win.
