    well I live in BC, Canada....Not a lot of Singers/bands come from here...however we DO have Bryan Adams, Michael Buble, Joni Mitchell, Jacob Hoggard, Nelly Furtado, and few others...

    A lot of real heavy metal bands came from California I believe? Better than what your generation (of no music talent of today) came from!!

    If you tell me the bands I will most likely know who you are talking about. I do not associate with my peers often, most of the music I listen to is either from the 60s/70s/80s and everything I listen from my generation is independent, which you probably wouldnt know about ;)

    In the UK, we don't have States, but i live in London, so these are my favourite bands from here...

    Living in London would make it so hard for me. The Clash are a top 5 band of all time for me though and it would seem they are gaining some sort of new found popularity. They were in the soundtrack to a film I saw in the theater on Friday and on a show I watched yesterday, awesome!
