It's only been three months since pop singer Whitney Houston's untimely death, and her family is already getting a reality show out of it. According to The New York Daily News, "The Houston Family Chronicles" has been picked up by Lifetime, and will feature Houston's sister-in-law (Pat), daughter (Bobbi Kristina), mother (Cissy), cousin (Dionne Warwick), as well as gospel singer CeCe Winans.

Details are scarce, but the show will reportedly center around Pat, who managed Whitney in her life and is also helping take care of Bobbi Kristina. Lifetime has already ordered ten episodes, and will start airing them before the year is up. Pat says the show was already in the works before Whitney died, but that her death "certainly affects the direction of the show." Do you think a show revolving around Whitney Houston's family sounds interesting?

No, no, no!!!!! I have zero interest in them capitalizing on the singer's death. Where were they during her life? They did nothing to help her and now they are making money through her fame??? No thanks..

Even WITH Whitney they had no show! Did anybody really watch "Being Bobby Brown"? Maybe once, twice just to see Whitney. I never did. It looked so bad. This will be worse. Like the "K"s , I wish they would all just disappear and get real damn jobs!

Ummm...the family is the ones wanting the damn show! If they don't do it now, they might as well just forget it. Whitney just died. They ain't waitin', they need her money now! What a bunch of leeches. Her daughter is gonna end up the same way her mom did, only worse, cuz she can't sing and she looks like her dad, which is a bad thing! She has zero chance of a Hollywood career. ZERO!

Dear God, Will someone in the Television industry PLEASE stand up and tell all executives and those in charge of television show ideas to get their heads out of their a**es and STOP this madness. OK, it was kinda cool with Survivor, and Amazing Race, or some of the other ones, but it has become nothing more than 300 versions of The Truman Show....enough is enough. And for those that do not know what the Truman show was, this is it in a nutshell; The Truman show chronicles the life of a man who is initially unaware that he is living in a constructed reality television show, broadcast around the clock to billions of people across the globe. How is that any different than what is going on in all these "Reality" shows.. and WTF are the Kardashians famous for... being "Reality Stars?"... so they are famous for being what....on television? I'm mad as hell and I'm not gonna take it anymore... (We now return you to our regularly scheduled program).......

Right! I watched 2 seasons of Survivor, a couple of the 1st seasons of The Real World. They were good. Now it's all fake & scripted. & they are becoming celebrities? No they aren't! Michael Douglas is a celebrity, a real movie star. Oprah, Tom Cruise are real celebrities etc. I even balk at Matt Lauer being a star. Yuck! None of these half-wits is a celebrity. Even movie stars nowdays suck ass. ie: Kristin (Bella) Stewart sucks donkey balls at acting. But she's a movie star. Don't get it, never will. People's standards have really sunk to a new low!

Why wouldn't the include they train wreck Bobby?

I know there was a reason I never watched Lifetime. Sometime I wish I could sue the Satellite company for offering 12,000 channels with only 2 or 3 that are actually viewable.
