Which news anchor is least likely to lie to viewers?

Bill O'Reilly lies every night. They have to be lies because he can't really be that dumb to believe some of the crap he says. The guy is one step beneath a Romney or Stephen King in making stuff up.

I didn't realize this was so old -- I was thinking in terms of their "debate" the other night.

I don't have any problem with either Rachel Maddow or Brian Williams, but... when did Rachel Maddow become a news anchor (I don't have t.v., I read reports on line)?

Rachel Maddow IS a liar! She and all the rest of her teammates on MSDNC are allergic to the truth! All they do is spout off DNC talking points!

And Bill O'Reilly and his teammates on FOX aren't allergic to the truth. All they do is spout off the RNC talking points. GOPTV is nothing but right wing propaganda 24/7. Lies lies and more lies.

It is actually a tie to me.....Bill & Jon.....both have their own views yet they both hold everyone accountable...IMHO

He is not stupid nor does he kiss ass, truth is truth!.

Neither does Bill O'Reilly....actually he usually kicks ass.

Bill and Jon are pretty much rivals in ideals and opnionbut they are honest about what they have to say.

The truth is far funnier than anything you can make up. Stewart's audience has proven time and again that they're intelligent and tend to know far more about the truth of certain policital and social situations than viewers of ANY news show - including Fox News.

We have seen over and over again the lies of Rachel Maddow and Brian Williams. Jon Stewart is an obvious lib, but he is a comedian, his show is not a news show.

I like the jokes, even if it's inaccurate statements. Everyone including him are just crap for news anchors. TV would rather pay a belligerent idiot to entertain us than a smart factual human capable of laying down the facts. After all it's about the views. :P

Again! I had to give an answer even though I don't agree to any of these choices. I would take Britt Humes word out of all of those on the tube.

The choices in this vote are skewed. It's like asking to someone to choose the best hell to reside in.

Yeah, the news has changed since they themselves became "celebrities". Celebrities tend to love the adulation more than the truth.

Jon Stewart is a comedian, Bill tells it like it is even if I don't like to hear it. Madcow is just that...mad. And Brian Williams does what he's told from the White House.

But even if he does lie. He can say... just kidding. L.O.L.

Brian Williams is probably tops, but i'm a liberal so...

Rachel does her job, checks facts, and provides sources that ALWAYS pan out.

She just may be a bit much for those who don't (yet) see conservatives for what they are.

So everyone else on this thread is a FOX news zombie. FOX news is the only news on television where the more you watch it the less you know. FOX news is still reporting that Mitt Romney won the election Tuesday because the vote was stolen in Ohio and Florida is still to close to call. Wake up! FOX is not news... hell it isn't even the facts.

See this is what is wrong with some of you people....you get your information from what your neighbor or friend says, vs your own eyes. See I've watched madcow and inbedwithobama williams and have seen with my own eyes their lies. John Stewart not being a journalist...well its his opinion that he talks about...and actually Bill O'Reilly gives his opinion and then has the two different sides to debate the issue.

Sorry I misunderstood you. So to your comment then - how does he lie if he lets two people from both sides debate? And yes he does interupt quite a bit, but only to stop the spinning from the left since they are so good at it. Or if the person is getting off topic. There are times I have to wonder where he stands politically. He claims to be an Independent.

No name, I see this conversation is going no where. I'm too tired to argue. But I will say I see no bias on Fox News. Bill O'Reilly is not a journalist, he doesn't report the news. His show is call The No Spin Zone. He picks a few topics to debate with a person from each side. I may not always agree with him, but he doesn't lie. And I doubt "Fox News was banned in the UK for a history of being biased". They are shown in every country so not sure what you are talking about and frankly don't care. We see the bias in the liberal media everyday of every minute, but I'm sure you don't. I'm going call it a night and end this conversation. Hope you have a blessed evening.

John Stewart isn't a "news anchor"; he's a comedian who's been granted his position as a "news man" by the simple fact that people 18-34 get their "news" from the late night talk shows and guys like him.

Brian Williams is the only news anchor, the rest are pundits who give opinion and Stewart is a comedian. If that's where you get your serious news, that's just sad.

... Stewart is a comedian, yes. But his audience has proven repeatedly that they're more informed that those that watch most newscasts.
